Domestic knitted slippers. In some places there are leather shoes with high soles, backless – kөvүsh and red boots on high heels – әdik. Currently shoes are worn on festive occasions by older women; before they were worn only by the rich, the poor women in the past did not have shoes, and most time of the year were barefooted; in winter when leaving the house they wore husband’s shoes.
Women Ersari, Sarikaya and Yomut wore leather with pointed toe low-heeled shoes, like the modern Central Asian galoshes – kovush having were spread among other nations.
